A series of PLIB compliant database applications that serves as a shell on top of RDBMS to provide the functional requirements of ISO13584 based parts library system. Multiple projects can be administered each of which may contain more than 1 million parts being characterized by hundreds of properties. A client may retrieve information on a part within in a few seconds over the Internet, just using a normal Internet-browser. This software is commercial and OmniPhase is a registered trademark of Toshiba Corporation.

use the OmniPhase with editor, you are asked to:
(1) install java plug-in, which is included in JRE(JavaTM 2
Runtime Environment,Standard Edition), downloadable
from http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html
. Versions of 1.4.x are recommended.
(2) download .java.policy file to your
local directory of "C:\Documents and Settings\username\"
for Windows2000/XP.
OmlettoTM Project
A CQL (Class Query Language)-based web application that can be used as a front-end for CQL-Engine to give it usability adaptable to PLIB. This includes query on the dictionaries of library as well as on the content of the library. Small to medium sized PLIB web database applications can be easily built using this as a cornerstone.

CQLEngine Project
A CQL (Class Query Language)-based database management system built on top of usual RDBMS (currently PostgreSQL and OracleTM are supported). CQL is an object-oriented extension of SQL so that object-oriented ontology of objects as well as instance data can be easily retrieved with the language. CQLEngine is designed to easily integrate and interact with its applicative environment, just like any classical database. The implementation of PLIB is largely facilitated by using CQL, although the power of the language extends beyond the horizon of PLIB.
WeRaByT Project
A prototype system being developed to provide semi-automated registration and maintenance of dictionary elements for ISO13584-compliant dictionaries that has interface with OmniphaseTM/OmlettoTM for dictionary import/export. This system is intended to be used for the registration of dictionary elements by ISO13584-501 Reference dictionary for measuring instruments-Registration Procedure.
